USAF Tankbuster A10 Thunderbolt II Warthog & 30mm Gatling Gun

USAF Tankbuster A10 Thunderbolt II Warthog & 30mm Gatling Gun Tube. Duration : 4.53 Mins.

en.wikipedia.org The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat, twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s. The A-10 was designed for a United States Air Force requirement to provide close air support (CAS) for ground forces by attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets with a limited air interdiction capability. It is the first US Air Force aircraft designed exclusively for close air support.[3] The A-10 was designed around the GAU-8 Avenger, a heavy automatic cannon which forms the aircraft's primary armament. The aircraft's hull incorporates over 1200 pounds (540 kg) of armor and was designed with survivability as a priority, with protective measures in place which enable the aircraft to continue flying even after taking significant damage. The A-10's official name comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt of World War II, a fighter that was particularly effective at close air support. The A-10 is more commonly known by its nickname "Warthog" or simply "Hog".[4] As a secondary mission, it provides airborne forward air control, guiding other aircraft against ground targets. A-10s used primarily in this role are designated OA-10.[5] The A-10 is expected to be replaced in 2028 or later.

The History of Bentley - 1910-1929

In 1912, W. O. Bentley and H. M. Bentley began in the car company as sales concession for three cars, these three cars were the Buchet, La Licorne and the Doriot, Flandrin and Parant known in short as D.F.P. The D. F. P. Was built to be a racing machine, and W. O. Bentley designed all new aluminum alloy pistons for it. Because of his success, Rolls-Royce and Sunbeam also adopted the pistons. These pistons also began use in aircraft engines.

Bentley Motors, limited was created in 1919  and saw its last days under its primary understanding in 1931. This primary company, though short lived, had a very colorful, fast paced time in history. With racing successes and financial failures, this company had its ups and downs. This primary company was owned by two brothers, W. O. And H. M. Bentley. W. O. Bentley was the mastermind behind the engineering and was a very finished race car driver. He was also the face of the company, while his brother stayed in the back ground and handled the company management side of things.

Damage History

After World War I, Bentley wanted to make a car that was to fully satisfy all of his desires of a car. This car would need to be stately on the road but savage on the track, a totally stock car that could race on a track. These new cars not only raced, they won races, this put them in examine and sales followed. The cars were often completed just in time for their delivery. Soon people were pushing for a Le Mans victory. In 1923, a 3 liter Bentley competed in the La Mans, it finished in fourth place but it also recorded the fastest lap time for that race.

Though in 1924 Bentley came home with a hard earned trophy, they still were having financial difficulties. Bentleys were costly vehicles and people were hesitant to drive them for this reason. people believed that since the car was so fast, it also would be hard to control. In 1926, the company got a reprieve when millionaire Woolf Barnato purchased controlling stock in the company and became the managing director. In 1927, Bentley took the dubious honor of the strangest accident in that tracks history as all of the competing Bentleys ended up in an accident with one another. One of the Bentleys, though beaten and tattered, went back out on the race track and sped straight through the night at speeds over 90 miles per hour.

In the dawning of the new day, the big, tough green car, tattered though it was, drove to final victory. In honor of this valiant car, it was parked in it's battered state in the elegant dining room of the Savoy in London and was the guest of honor at the celebration dinner. After an famed career on the track, Bentley retired from racing in order to yield elegant passenger cars of exceptional detail and an grand engine. Even with this, in 1931, Bentley Motors Ltd faded into history as its assets were bought up by Rolls-Royce who then began producing Bentleys. As time went on, the Bentley became less and less of an private and more and more a copy of the Rolls Royce of the time. Today, the Bentley differs from the Rolls Royce only in it's own radiator grill.

Recently, Vw has come into proprietary of the venerable Bentley name and to their credit, they are continuing in the old Bentley tradition with the car in general and La Mans racing in particular. The Bentley brothers would be proud to know that Rolls Royce is no longer in operate of their namesake vehicles.

Oil Spill - Gov't Assets Unused (Control Ecology Damage - Not Politics) - Apply Nasa's Frr System!

Two months after the deep-ocean oil spill in federal waters off Louisiana, the immensity of the catastrophe is still growing, as the mass media reluctantly, but inevitably, permits commentary of how president Obama is handling the crisis. For weeks, there was nothing but official statements of blaming Bp (British Petroleum - "They will pay for everything!"); initially, a quick but unexplained firing of a woman, supposedly in payment of federal drilling regulations (some rumors of relaxed requirements for Bp's mile-deep rig); then - after complaints that "cool" Obama was too unemotional, some presidential cuss-words to show frustration.

However, week after week - the oil still gushes, tragic pictures of oil-covered pelicans are in the news; also of the massive oil slick as it comes ever closer to the east coast - meanwhile no solution is forthcoming on how to plug the leak. However, at long last, there seems to be some beginning governmental attempt to stem the inherent oil damage. Desperate pleas by the Governor of Louisiana for federal preserve to mop up the oil and block the slick were apparently ignored for weeks (claims of federal equipment, e.g. "booms" being unavailable, and that concerns about lack of an "environmental impact study" precluded relief efforts). In June, television-show hosts Hannity and Huckabee began using their Fox News programs to publicize innovative methods of minimizing the oil damage as suggested by the public - all apparently ignored by the Administration.

Damage History

The question is - there are two problems - of equal considerable and immediate importance: 1) plugging the leak (and studying and eliminating the cause); 2) minimizing the oil slick damage.

The time-honored recipe of attacking considerable problems is to assemble many experts; provide a forum for presentation and debate; institute unemotional evaluation by an experienced advisory panel; then decisions are made by qualified authority. Nasa, coping with the extremes of both human feel and danger (plus colossal national pride and cost), has advanced its principles of "Flight Readiness Review" to best achieve this. To add difficulty, the decision-maker (Nasa Administrator - who reports to the President), while experienced and knowledgeable in many fields (perhaps an Air Force General), may lack the detailed scientific, arcane knowledge at issue in a risk-assessment decision - but he must make the decision.

The Nasa mission in space is daunting, unforgiving of any error or oversight of human shortcomings: in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality control - or in predicting the supervene of complex Nature - or in taking the "best shot" when probing the unknown. And the rule is that the Nasa Administrator - whose areas of background expertise can hardly embrace all the discrete technologies of risk and concern - is required to make all considerable decisions. And since life-and-death, plus hundreds of millions of dollars in program hardware and costs are complex in every mission, how that is done is a unique advent to technical and administration problem-solving.

In essence, before each flight, Nasa conducts a Flight Readiness characterize (really a tutorial) - taking some days, where-by every inherent threat to a successful mission is fully examined and reviewed - in technical, educational information - presented by the best experts in industry and government - addressing the Administrator and his staff. The Administrator sits at the top center of a large "inverted U" table, department Directors at his sides; the major undertaker of a package deal Engineering officials sit along the legs, their staffs behind them; and, by video, hundreds of engineers at every complex Nasa department and undertaker of a package deal supervene the proceedings. Every technical or scientific issue is reduced to its fundamentals - questions asked, debated and answered by the many experts in each field in the room - so the Administrator (often a "layman" in the specific arcane field) understands the risks as best an arresting man can and makes the decision.

The presenter (at the podium on a large stage of the huge room) is either the Nasa's or contractor's top engineer in the subject field; alongside the podium are three giant screens, on which are presented any required graphs and text. The question presentation may take a half-day, prominent to a hint - for the Administrator to accept (or reject; if so, with requests for more tests). The issue - a major mission threat - is one with which most of the audience has been deeply involved, maybe for years. Discussions are often arresting - human knowledge and technology are wrestling with the unknown.

Take the question of "Re-entry" for the Space Shuttle. Early orbital flights and the Moon (Saturn) program handled the extremes and uncertainties of re-entry heat by employing very conservative thicknesses of ablative material on the underside of the re-entry capsule - which landed in the ocean. For the Space Shuttle, the view was an airplane-type vehicle, which would land on land (although lacking motor propulsive power, like a glider). The re-entry heat question was (theoretically) solved by the straightforward view of "insulation vacuumized tiles" (six by six inches, thicknesses about an inch) - providing insulation via the quality of a vacuum to block heat transference.

The tiles, a improvement of Nasa and Hughes Aircraft, were fabricated of fibrous quartz, filaments stuffed in the tile, double-vacuumed, and covered by a thin glass exterior. (Note: the inside of a tile looks like straightforward styrofoam.) The processing improvement was highly difficult - as evidenced by the cost: each tile (there are 30,000 per Shuttle - photos of the Shuttle showing "black" on the underside of wing, fuselage, tail and the nose are these thousands of 6 x 6 tiles) - ,000 each in 1981; after the most recent Shuttle disaster, the newspapers cited the "volume-production" cost as 00 per tile. While the costs are high and the tiles delicate, their function is wonderful - although the surface of the tiles are exposed to re-entry temperatures of up to 3000 degrees Fahrenheit (no man-made material can withstand such a temperature), inside the Shuttle - only an inch or so distant (thickness of the tile) is the aluminum floor of the Shuttle, upon which the astronauts walk (80 degrees).

Considering the complexity of the manufacturing process of the tiles, the large amount of them, the fact that they made up most of the vehicle's aerodynamic and control surfaces' exterior, their fragility, fix techniques, and that the spaces in the middle of tiles sometimes required stuffing - the amount of Flight Readiness Reviews, wherein tile problems were one of the major mission issues, can be imagined. However - the problems were solved - the discrete Nasa Administrators during the decade or so of Shuttle improvement were each briefed (technically-educated occasionally) and made the permissible decisions - the program becoming a colossal success for the U.S. And humanity for roughly thirty years.

The oil spill disaster, now nearing two months, seems no nearer to having a definitive administration plan than at its beginning. Why does not the President prescribe man (perhaps the Nasa Administrator or a Navy Admiral) to convene a "problem review" symposium: the world's smartest and experienced citizen - one room - for as long as it takes - to gift and deliberate upon ideas - and institute a plan-of-action?

Super Robot Taisen 4 (SNES) - Final Fight (Bad Ending)

Super Robot Taisen 4 (SNES) - Final Fight (Bad Ending) Tube. Duration : 9.73 Mins.

The bad ending is triggered if you choose to fight Shu instead of Zezenen. Shu invokes the curse of Volkruss, Granzon becomes Neo Granzon, Zezenen deals just 10 damage and Shu kills him. And than he summons a few lvl 99 Valsione. I don't get how Shu can still call upon Volkruss since Volkruss should be dead. Sephine should also be dead. To make things worse, my entire team has it's morale reduced to 50. And Shu himself is lvl 99. And his strongest attack can one-hit kill a 20000 Hp unit. Yes, this is probably the hardest stage in srw history. However, the 'cheat' to win would be the GPO-2's Bazooka canon + the soul Seishin. That would wipe out the Valsiones and the only thing left to do would be to gang up on Shu. This leads to the bad ending. As Mekiboz decides that humans are too power-hungry, the peace negotiations with Guest are over and this leads to all out war, a nightmare which will never end...

Peaceful Rally Calling for a Full Public Inquiry Into Police actions at G20 Saturday, April 2, 2011 Yonge and Dundas square- Toronto- Canada WE "THE PEOPLE" DEMAND JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY - WE DEMAND A PUBLIC INQUIRY! The 1 year anniversary of the G20 is quickly approaching and activists are planning a large and memorable rally on that date to remind Canadians once again why a full public inquiry is so important and necessary. We are now facing an election for a new Federal government on May 2nd. We are urging Canadians to make this a major election issue with the candidates in ther ridings. It was the Harper Conservative government which was responsible for hosting the G20 summit in downtown Toronto against the advice of our mayor and others. The shutting down of the city cost local business owners millions of dollars. Over 20000 police officers and private security officers hired for a 1 billion dollar price tag were ordered to stand down and failed to arrest 50 or so Black Bloc vandals from causing thousands of dollars of damage to many local businesses. Prime Minister Harper refused calls for a public inquiry as his government was responsible for making the decisions which had a negative impact on many Torontonians and Canadians. Both major opposition parties, the Liberals and the NDP supported the demands by the people for a full public and independent inquiry to determine why so many things went wrong and who was responsible. Make sure that no candidate gets your ...

car repair History - Tips For Checking Before You Buy

Unless you yourself have been making repairs on the car you are about to buy, which is very unlikely, you must get an accurate, dependable vehicle heal history before you buy. By naturally viewing a used car and even by test driving the vehicle for a short distance, you may be falling prey to a less than honest car seeder who has spent a small amount of money outside up damage in order to make you spend a large amount of money on the car.

Sometimes, even mechanics can't ascertain a lot of the possible troubles a car may have with a cursory examination - and in some cases, when the value of the car is not overly high, a detailed exam by a great mechanic may just be too costly. The only true protection a used car buyer can count on is the vehicle heal history available from any of several different places. On the internet there are a range of choices - search for vehicle history article and see who pops up high on the list.

Damage History

Know that there are choices for the type of data you can access about a vehicle's heal history. You can perform a faultless vehicle history article which is very recommended before you buy any used car but you can also request data on an auto's protection ratings, coarse problem spots with any model of car currently available, average heal costs for your car and a widespread accident, heal and odometer history.

If you don't want to pay for a faultless history, use your instinct. For instance, if the mileage seems terribly low given the age of the car, do an odometer check to see if the car's odometer has been substituted or altered by an unscrupulous seller. You can only protect yourself if you are willing to do the investigating significant to be safe.

A Brief History of Hairdressing

It is said that hairdressers have always walked among kings and commoners alike, so diverse was the role of the first hairdressers. Early barbers doubled as dentists and surgeons - their red and white striped pole represented their institution of bloodletting. Men would regain in barbers' salons to receive a shave, discuss world affairs and change daily news.

In aged Greece and Rome barbers were revered for their skill and the clean-shaven look was very much to be desired. Barbarians had scruffy beards that could be grabbed by the enemy thus bringing about their downfall; and Alexander the Great apparently ordered his men to shave so that they did not suffer such ignominy. In 1096 French barbers joined together to form an official association of barber-surgeons following a degree by an archbishop outlawing beards.

Damage History

This was the starting of a period of growing respect for barbers. Because treatment was developing as a detach field, barbers were given a distinct scholastic status of their own as 'surgeons of the short robe' and received teaching in extra schools set up for their instruction. In London, the Worshipful firm of Barbers was founded in 1308. Within 200 years, barbers were being approved into the University of Paris and they enjoyed their pro and scholastic status until well into the eighteenth century.

But what about women during all this time? While their men folk were visiting barbers, their hair was being dressed in the home and being kept neat and tidy by braiding and twisting and often kept in place under some form of headgear. The seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in France saw the age of the elucidate wig and both men and women sought the services of skilled wig-makers who designed ever more elucidate and costly headwear.

By the turn of the nineteenth century, this taste for sophisticated and extremely structured wigs was on the decline, partly due to a tax on hair powder! Once again ladies and their maids took accountability for their own hairdressing. And in the twentieth century, hairdressing salons arrived and women everywhere were happy to frequent them and let others wash, cut and dress their hair in the newest styles.

(3/10) Battlefield II Pearl Harbor Ep.7 World War II Tube. Duration : 10.02 Mins.

World War II Subscribe to Excellent World War II Videos. Updated Weekly At 6:00 am on 7 December, the six Japanese carriers launched a first wave of 181 planes composed of torpedo bombers, dive bombers, horizontal bombers and fighters. Even as they winged south, some elements of US forces on Oahu realized there was something different about this Sunday morning. In the hours before dawn, US Navy vessels spotted an unidentified submarine periscope near the entrance to Pearl Harbor. It was attacked and reported sunk by the destroyer USS Ward (DD-139) and a patrol plane. At 7:00 am, an alert operator of an Army radar station at Opana spotted the approaching first wave of the attack force. The officers to whom those reports were relayed did not consider them significant enough to take action. The report of the submarine sinking was handled routinely, and the radar sighting was passed off as an approaching group of American planes due to arrive that morning. The Japanese aircrews achieved complete surprise when they hit American ships and military installations on Oahu shortly before 8:00 am They attacked military airfields at the same time they hit the fleet anchored in Pearl Harbor. The Navy air bases at Ford Island and Kaneohe Bay, the Marine airfield at Ewa and the Army Air Corps fields at Bellows, Wheeler and Hickam were all bombed and strafed as other elements of the attacking force began their assaults on the ships moored in Pearl Harbor. The purpose of the simultaneous ...

A Brief History of Branding

The word brand originally meant anyone hot or burning, and for hundreds of years was linked with the process of marking an animal with a unique sticker so that the owner could identify it at a later date. The institution complicated heating a branding iron that was fashioned into a symbol, letter or name, in a fire, which would then be pressed against the hide of an animal, burning the hair and skin and leaving a permanent scar on the body.

The term brand now has a wider meaning, and is used to chronicle a name, logo or catchword linked with a singular company, product or service. Brands came about as a way to identity a companies' products from similar products of rival businesses, but of course branding could also be used to disguise an inferior product as one of higher quality; in old China, merchants sometimes used branding to falsely pass off lower grade orchad tea as higher grade hill tea, by using names such as "Misty Mountain Tea", or "Garden in the Sky Tea".

Damage History

A brand is all about how a customer perceives a product or company. A successful brand is recognisable and creates an instant relationship with a product or service. For example, habitancy see a McDonald's Restaurant, and they know they can get quick and cheap food there. Construction a brand can take a long time and is a aggregate of a having a consistent product, as well as strong advertising and marketing.

The highest level of achievement in the world of branding is to create a brand that is abruptly recognisable even without the name of the business present. This takes years of marketing and huge amounts of investment; fellowships that have achieved this include Nike (with its "swoosh"), McDonald's (with its Golden Arches), Playboy (with the Playboy Bunny) and some car manufacturers such as Mercedes, Jaguar and Mitsubishi.

These days, fellowships spend thousands of pounds Construction and promoting their brands, holding up on the latest media news and advancements. A company's brand is vital to its success and therefore it's imperative that a business monitors its brand image to ensure that it is being perceived in the way it wants to be.

Negative press relating to a singular brand can have very detrimental effects and can mean that the public connect a brand with negative aspects, which is obviously bad for business, and a damaged brand can take months or even years to recover, if it ever recovers at all.

Most of the individuals that have suffered from albinism have a long history of being ostracized and rebuked by the society. Citizen tend to avoid individuals suffering from albinism solely based on their outer appearance.

However, albinism has a deep history connected along with it. Citizen suffering from albinism have been always discriminated based on their appearance. 350 PPM CO2: Earth's Tipping Point? - Bill McKibben Video Clips. Duration : 3.20 Mins.

Complete video at: fora.tv Deep Economy author Bill McKibben, co-founder and director of 350.org, presents the current concentration of carbon in the atmosphere, which has surpassed the redline of 350 ppm identified by scientists as the safe upper limit for C02 in the atmosphere. ----- 350 is the red line for human beings, the most important number on the planet. The most recent science tells us that unless we can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million, we will cause huge and irreversible damage to the earth. In this exclusive lecture for Sydney Ideas leading environmental writer and activist Bill McKibben talks about how climate science and climate politics are quickly evolvingand how we now have a much more specific idea both of the peril we face and the steps (large and difficult) necessary to solve it. Even two years ago, scientists could offer only vague ideas of how much carbon in the atmosphere was too much. But in the wake of the rapid melt of Arctic sea ice in 2007, it's become clear that this is a problem not for the future but very much for the present. In addition, McKibben describes the swelling grassroots global movement, 350.org, which looks set to coordinate the largest day of global environmental action ever, with actions from high in the Himalayas to underwater on the Great Barrier Reef. - Australian Broadcasting Corporation Environmentalist Bill McKibben is a scholar in environmental studies at Middlebury College ...

Saburo Sakai Vs Pug Southerland

Saburo Sakai Vs Pug Southerland Tube. Duration : 7.48 Mins.

At the beginning of the Battle of Guadalcanal, August 7, 1942, United States forces shelled Guadalcanal and neighboring Tulagi in the Solomon Islands. Soon after the attack began, 27 Japanese bombers and an escort of 17 fighters took off from Rabaul, Japan's stronghold and strategic base in the South Pacific. Their mission was to bomb the ships that were supporting the American attack. Lieutenant Southerland commanded a group of 8 American Wildcats aboard the USS Saratoga in Wildcat Battle Unit #5192. Due to planning errors and the loss of planes to a recent training exercise, these were the only fighter cover available to patrol the landing area. Southerland's flight took off to intercept the Japanese bombers before they could reach the American ships. Southerland shot down the first Japanese aircraft of the Guadalcanal campaign, a G4M1 "Betty" bomber of the 4th Kokutai, under the command of Shizuo Yamada. After shooting down a second bomber, Southerland was engaged in a dogfight with an A6M2 "Zero" of the Tainan Kokutai. He lined up the Zero in his sights only to find his guns would not fire, probably due to damage from fire by the tailgunner from the second bomber he had downed. Although he was now defenseless, Southerland had to stay in the fight. Two more Zeros engaged him, but he successfully outmaneuvered all three of them. The dogfight was spotted by Saburo Sakai who felt the deftly handled Wildcat was winning the engagement. Sakai described the duel in his ...
